ESPN Bracketology Has Utah as a 4 seed

The king of Bracketology, Joe Lunardi of ESPN.com, has an updated Bracketology with the Utes as a 4-seed. He has Utah taking on Louisiana Tech in the first round of the South Bracket, and has placed the Utes in Portland for the first couple of rounds. The Utes, if they were to advance in the tournament would be taking on Duke - the region's top seed - in the Sweet 16. Of course, all Utah fans would look to see where Kentucky is, and in this version of the bracket, they are on the opposite side - so Utah wouldn't see them until the title game.

Of course, this is all prognostication and speculation from Lunardi, and there is still plenty of basketball to be played until selection Sunday in a couple of weeks. He's had the Utes as a 3-seed for much of the later part of the season, and they can play themselves back into that position with a couple wins to finish the season, plus a Pac-12 Championship at the Pac-12 tournament. For me, I'd love to see a 3-seed going into the tournament, but we still have a ways to go.
