Delon Wright, Brandon Taylor and Jakob Poeltl named All-Pac-12

Today the Pac-12 named their All-Conference teams, as well as post season awards.

The big shocker, at least to me, is the fact that Joseph Young was named the Player of the Year. While Oregon did overachieve this year, and probably the reason Dana Altman won Coach of the Year, I don't believe Young was the POY. The two names that were linked to the award the last couple of weeks were TJ McConnell and Delon Wright. Being a Utah guy, obviously, I think Delon should have won the award, because he had a huge impact of the game both on offense and defense.

Utah and Oregon are slated to matchup in the semi-finals of the Pac-12 tournament, if they do indeed meet up, better believe Wright will know exactly who he is matched up against - Joseph Young.

It was also nice to see Brandon Taylor get some love, because as a whole, he's had a great season. Also, Jakob Poeltl being on the All-Freshman team was a no-brainer. Hopefully he comes back next season to improve and be on the All-Pac-12 team.
