Chris Hill releases new 'State of the Utes' video - talking Rice-Eccles and more

About once a month, Utah Director of Athletics Chris Hill releases a YouTube video giving a state of the program, called 'State of the Utes.' Thursday, he released one of his longer videos, really touching on a range of topics.

One interesting thing he touches on is the fact that it's going to take spending a lot of money on both facilities and coaches to be competitive in the Pac-12. It almost sounded like he was talking about the Kalani Sitake situation when he was talking about spending the money, which it turns out he was willing to do. The contracts for the Oregon St. staff was released by the Salt Lake Tribune a week or so ago, and they broke down Gary Anderson's, Kalani Sitake's and Ilaisa Tuiaki's contacts. It turns out Sitake signed a three year deal worth $730,000. His offer from the U was for $750,000 - with bonuses that could take it to $800,000.

He also touches on Rice-Eccles Stadium, where the men's restroom situation is getting improved, also a new $6 million video board is ready to be installed, but may have to wait due to some logistical issues.

Anyway, check out the video above.
