Former Utah wide receiver Kaelin Clay becomes the fourth Utah player drafted in the 2015 NFL Draft after he was selected in the 6th round 184th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Clay only played one season at Utah but made the most of it, being named an All-American as a return man. Clay returned one kickoff and three punts for touchdowns in the 2014 season. As a receiver, he caught 43 passes for 523 yards and four touchdowns. Once Utah wide receiver Dres Anderson was done for the season due to a knee injury, Clay stepped up for Utah and became the primary receiving threat.
After a disappointing showing at the NFL Combine, Clay had a strong showing at Utah's Pro Day. Most sources did not have Clay getting drafted, especially not in the 6th round. Clay will add playmaking ability and be a nice target for No. 1 overall pick quarterback Jameis Winston.
