Utah at Fresno State Open Thread

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Here we are week three already, and the Utes are about to wrap up their non-conference schedule against the Fresno State Bulldogs. The No. 21 Utes are a two touchdown favorites against the Bulldogs, and should win the game, but it's a tricky opponent in a tricky place in the schedule. The Utes have to be careful not to overlook the Bulldogs with the Oregon game looming next week. It will be interesting to see if it's Travis Wilson or Kendal Thompson that runs out on the field to open the game. Regardless of who it is, Devontae Booker should see the ball plenty to help carry the Utes to a win.

Fresno State is still a team searching for a quarterback, but have a solid running back in Waller. Utah has to eliminate Waller from the mix and make the inexperienced quarterbacks beat them. Utah's defensive line should be in the backfield all day long, and Utah's back seven should be able to have turnover opportunities.

If you weren't able to make the trip to majestic Fresno, then join us to chat about the game, as it happens!
