Utah Football Moves Up in both AP and Coaches Poll

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Utah took care of business Saturday night against the Fresno State Bulldogs by a score of 45-24, and in turn moved up a couple of spots in both the polls on Sunday. After being No. 21 in both polls last week, the Utes have moved up to No. 17 and No. 18 respectively. The Utes are joined by five other Pac-12 teams in the polls, with UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, USC and Stanford all showing up in the polls.

This next week will be Utah's first game of the season against a fellow ranked foe, with Oregon (13th on both polls). Oregon actually slipped a bit in this week's poll. USC dropped out of the top 15 after their loss to Stanford, as the Cardinal jumps back into the rankings.

Here are both polls, along with the Massey computer average.
