Another week, another conference player of the week award for the Utes, this time on special teams. It had to be a two man race between Cory Butler-Byrd, who returned a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, or Britain Covey, who returned a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown. It turns out that those extra 21 yards paid off for Butler-Byrd, because he was named Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week for week three of the season.
