Utah's has yet to win their conference opener since joining the Pac-12. Utah looks to break that streak against defending Pac-12 champs Oregon up in Eugene; so needless to say it's going to be a tall task.
Utah has started the season 3-0, and took care of business in the non-conference schedule. The offense appears to be improving, but the question mark right now is Travis Wilson's health. Most people expect him to play, which would be a big boost to the offense.
Oregon has started 2-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming to Michigan State on the road. Oregon doesn't appear to be the same machine that they've been for the past handful of years. Their defense has given up big yardage to FCS programs, and their offense isn't as deadly. Don't get me wrong, the offense is still really good, but it's not Marcus Mariota good.
Utah is a two score underdog today, but I feel they have a good shot to win this thing. Let's find out together, shall we?
If you weren't able to make it up to Eugene, join in with us with the open thread!
