Utah football: Cal vs Utah kickoff time announced

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

It's a BYE week, so any news is welcomed when there isn't a game to talk about. Today it was announced by the conference that the Cal vs. Utah game at Rice-Eccles Stadium will start at 8 p.m. Mountain Time, and will be televised on ESPN. So that means that the run of 8 p.m. kick offs are about to begin, because I doubt this will be the one of the only ones we see this season.

Currently, the Bears are ranked No. 24 in both the AP and Coaches poll after week four, after their fast 4-0 start. The Bears join the Utes and UCLA as one of the three undefeated remaining in the conference. The Bears boast of the countries best quarterbacks with Jared Goff and the "Bear Raid" offense that he leads.

Utah is coming off of the big win in Oregon, and look to recharge and heal up before the showdown with the Bears.
