The time has come! Finally, it's been months, and months since we've had football. Basically, since the end of the Vegas Bowl beat down of Colorado State, Utah fans have been salivating at the chance to watch their team yet again. That time has come, and with it comes the debut of Jim Harbaugh as Michigan's newest head coach. The unusual coach takes over the reigns of the school he quarterback so many years ago. A lot of Utah fans are tired of the Harbaugh show, plus they want to exact revenge for Alex Smith.
This is Michigan's first trip to Rice-Eccles Stadium, after the previous three meetings were in Ann Arbor. Utah leads the series 2-1, after winning the past 2 games (2008, 2014). Utah got the better of Michigan last season, by a strong defensive effort, led by the debut of Gionni Paul.
Well, Paul and most of his gang of defenders are back, plus there's the return of Devontae Booker. Booker wasn't yet established as the Utah starter last season versus Michigan, so the Wolverines' will have receive the full wrath of The Beast.
Now that it's kick off time, if you're aren't at Rice-Eccles, sit back and enjoy the game with us, and chat with us about the drama between Utah and Michigan.
Go Utes!
