Utah football kicks off the 2015 football season against the Michigan Wolverines on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the second game in the home-home series. Utah won the first meeting last season at the Big House 26-10. Utah is coming off their best season since joining the Pac-12, finishing 9-4 (5-4 Pac-12) and ranked in the top 20. Michigan is coming off a 5-7 (3-5 Big Ten) season in 2014. Excitement is high in Ann Arbor though for the 2015 season with new head coach Jim Harbaugh at the helm. Utah leads the all-time series 2-1, with all three games taking place in Ann Arbor, Mich. This will be the first time Michigan travels to the West since taking on Oregon in Eugene in 2003. It also marks the first time a Big Ten team travels to Rice-Eccles Stadium since Indiana came in 2002 (a game Utah won 40-13).
The game has attracted plenty of national attention, largely due to the return of Harbaugh to college football. The game offers a huge stage for Utah football to show the nation what the team is about. It also offers Utah senior running back Devontae Booker an early opportunity to impress Heisman voters.
Here are all the ways to enjoy the game, if you don't have a ticket to the game. Plus, don't forget to join us for our Open Thread later to chat about the game, while in progress!
