The Utah Runnin' Utes (12-4, 1-2 Pac-12) are just outside the top 25 in this week's AP Poll and a bit further out in the Coaches Poll. Utah went 1-0 last week, defeating the Colorado Buffaloes on the road 56-54. Utah received 10 votes in the AP Poll, effectively ranking them 29th, tied with Texas Tech, who Utah beat in the Puerto Rico Tip Off earlier this season. Utah received only one vote in the Coaches Poll. Utah has a chance to move up if they can go 2-0 this week against Oregon (Thursday Jan. 14) and Oregon State (Sunday Jan. 17).
