This week's gymnastics rankings have the Red Rocks (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) at No. 7 (196.342), one spot lower than last week after a 196.125-195.125 win over Oregon State (who fell to No. 15). Utah posted the lower than usual score due to two falls and one stumble on the floor routine. Utah is the second highest ranked Pac-12 team after No. 4 UCLA (196.758). Stanford is ranked No. 12 (195.783), Oregon State is ranked No. 15 (195.633), Arizona, Utah's next opponent, is ranked No. 20 (195.217), and Cal is ranked No. 21 (195.150). Utah will have to move forward with sophomore All-American Kari Lee, who is done for the season. Southern Utah, who Utah defeated earlier this season, is tied for No. 24.
Utah's next opponent is No. 20 Arizona, who they will face at the Huntsman Center on Monday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. MT. Arizona is capable of putting up big scores, with a 196.475 as their season-high.
