The No. 21 Utah Utes (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12) will wear a new uniform combination for their game on Saturday at Oregon State (2-3, 1-1 Pac-12). Utah will wear their matte black helmet with the oversized chrome drum and feather logo, white jerseys, and white pants.

Overall, I like the look. It is a nice change of pace. Since 2014, Utah has not used the same uniform combination twice in one season, and so we have been treated to quite a few new uniform combinations. Utah has worn a crimson helmet with the white jersey and pants many times before, and I personally like this look better. They have also gone black-white-black twice in the past, which is not a bad look, but I like this better because the extra white emphasizes that it is a road uniform more. Overall, it is another clean road look for the Utes. I just hope that OSU emphasizes orange in this game because black and white are their two other colors, and the game could look a little too monotoned if they do not bring in some orange.
One thing that I have really liked this year is that Utah is honoring players who work hard and do not necessarily get a lot of credit as the uniform models. This week they have chosen Hayden Clegg, who has played on special teams primarily in his Utah career. This is just a nice touch to give this players a chance in the spotlight to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to the team.
