For their huge showdown against No. 4 Washington (7-0, 4-0 Pac-12) with ESPN College GameDay in town, No. 17 Utah (7-1, 4-1 Pac-12) will wear their “Dirty Bird” Jamal Anderson tribute uniforms, black helmet, red jersey, and white pants. Utah wore this uniform combination last season against Utah State.

This is the fourth time Utah will don a black helmet this season, which is more times than the Utes have ever worn a black helmet in a season. Overall, this is a pretty good look. With this combination though, I would have preferred if they would have done it with the handcrafted black helmet, red throwback jersey, and white throwback pants. It would have been an updated version of the look for the 2016 season. I honestly would not be surprised though if we see some new uniform elements. This is the Ute Proud game, and it appears they have Ute Proud accessories, but I would not be surprised if they incorporated more of that in the helmet/jersey/pants. They added new uniform elements twice already this season (the handcrafted helmet against USC and the chrome logo on the white helmet against Cal).
