2018 five-star small forward Emmanuel Akot from Mount Pleasant (Utah) Wasatch Academy released his top four today, and the hometown Utah Runnin’ Utes made the cut. The other three teams include Arizona, Louisville, and Oregon. All three of the schools Utah is going up against for the standout wing are basketball powerhouses. Akot is 6’ 6”, 185 and is originally from Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Runnin’ Utes head coach Larry Krystkowiak has done a great job keeping local talent home, so Utah definitely has a good shot to land the talented small forward.

Akot plays for the Canadian U-17 team per Scout.com's Director of Basketball Recruiting Evan Daniels.
