After losing at Cal (3-2, 1-1 Pac-12), the No. 24 Utah Utes (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12) have 150/1 odds to win the national championship. Utah had 75/1 odds last week when they were undefeated and ranked No. 18. Here are the full odds curtesy of Jimmy Shapiro.

No. 5 Washington has by far the best odds of any team in the Pac-12 at 15/2. The only other Pac-12 teams with odds to win the national championship are Stanford at 100/1 and Colorado at 150/1. While it is quite a long shot for Utah to win the national championship, the fact that one loss did not knock the Utes off the board shows that being in the Pac-12 is different from being in the Mountain West Conference. One loss generally does not eliminate a Power 5 conference champion from contention.
