Coppin State Eagles at Utah Utes Open Thread

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Utes continue their regular season tonight against Coppin State at the Huntsman Center. The 2-0 Utes have played two over matched foes, and will play another tonight, but continue to work toward building some continuity with so many new roster pieces.

The Utes took some positive steps between their first two games, showing some more efficiency on offense, and improved in taking care of the ball. The Utes do need to improve with their shooting from beyond the arc, as they were not very good last game. That's an area that will be very important to the Utes, because they appear to have a lot of slashers and cutters, and if they can't open up the lane that will be a major problem.

If you can't make it to the Huntsman for tonight's game, hang out here and chat about the game as it happens! It's a young season and a young team, but they're fun to watch!

Go Utes!
