Despite being on a bye this week, Utah moved up five spots in the Amway Coaches Poll and four spots in the AP Poll to No. 12 and No. 13 respectively. Utah avoided playing during a week that saw multiple top 25 teams go down, including formerly No. 4 Texas A&M at unranked Mississippi State. Four Pac-12 teams are currently ranked in both polls, No. 4 Washington, No. 12/13 Utah, No. 15/16 Colorado, and No. 23 Washington State. USC is also the highest team in the others receiving votes group, ranking them essentially No. 26. The full rankings can be found here.
Looking ahead to week 11, Utah faces off against Arizona State on Thursday night in Tempe, Ariz. ESPN College GameDay will be headed to Seattle, Wash. for the matchup between Washington and USC, which is the second time in three weeks College GameDay is highlighting a Pac-12 game. In general, week 11 is relatively quiet in terms of big match ups, with only one meeting between ranked teams when No. 25 Baylor travels to No. 9 Oklahoma.
