Utah continues to surge on the recruiting front, landing 2018 four-star quarterback Jack Tuttle. Tuttle is 6’ 4”, 202 pounds and comes from San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills.

He was one of the top uncommitted quarterbacks in the 2018 class. Quarterbacks tend to commit earlier than most other positions, and landing a top quarterback can pay huge dividends on the recruiting front. Tuttle is the second highest rated high school recruit to commit to Utah after only 2017 cornerback Jaylon Johnson. This is a huge get for Utah. Tuttle held offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Colorado, Indiana, LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Washington State, and Wisconsin among others.
Tuttle is an accurate passer with a big arm. He goes through his progressions to find an open receiver. One thing that the Utah coaches look for in a quarterback is the ability to extend the play, and Tuttle displays this in his film. While he is considered a pro-style quarterback, Tuttle can run if he needs to.

Tuttle is the sixth player to commit to Utah in less than two weeks, and the third four-star recruit.
