Utah Gymnastics: Georgia Dabritz Named to Pac-12 All-Century Team

Utah's gymnastics history is long and storied, including 10 national championships and more All-Americans than any other team in history. With that said, only Georgia Dabritz was named to the Pac-12 All-Century team, as only players and coaches that completed in the conference were eligible.

Dabritz is a no brainer as a member of the Pac-12 All-Century team of 16 gymnasts, which is dominated by UCLA. As you'll see in the release below, Dabritz is as decorated as a gymnast as the Pac-12 has ever seen, and this is another honor she can add to her mantle. "No Grips" Dabritz gained the nickname "No Grips" by not using grips on the uneven bars, which is rare now days. The event which she was nicknamed for, the bars, is the event she was named to on the team, as she scored seven, yes that's right, seven perfect 10s on the bars through her career.

Congrats Georgia, as being the second Ute named to an All-Century team, joining Tom Hackett in football.

SAN FRANCISCO€-Utah's Georgia Dabritz was one of 16 gymnasts selected to the Pac-12 Conference All-Century team. Dabritz made the team on the uneven bars, where she was the 2015 NCAA Champion, the 2013 NCAA runner-up and a two-time Pac-12 Champion. She scored seven 10.0s on the bars in her career, which spanned from 2012-15.

Dabritz, a 16-time All-American, is the only person in the history of college women's gymnastics to score a 10.0 on bars in both the NCAA semifinals and Super Six, a feat she achieved at the 2015 NCAA Championships. The eight-time NCAA regional champion and six-time Pac-12 champion received the 2015 AAI Award as the country's Senior Gymnast of the Year.

She won every major Pac-12 award during her career and was the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year in 2015, as well as the Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She was the Pac-12 Specialist of the Year in 2014 and the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2012.

After winning the Pac-12 all-around and floor titles as a senior, she captured every individual event title and the all-around at the NCAA Berkeley Regional.

A three-time Utah MVP, Dabritz led Utah in victories all our seasons and her 88 career victories tied for fourth in school history.

Despite a record 10 national championships and more All-Americans than any team in NCAA history, Dabritz was the only Ute to make the All-Century Team. Only gymnasts (and coaches) during Utah's five-year tenure in the Pac-12 Conference were eligible for the team.
