Cottonwood HS (Salt Lake City, Utah) defensive end Fua Pututau picks Utah over BYU and Colorado. Pututau is a three-star recruit and one of the better players in the state of Utah. This is a nice get for Utah on National Signing Day. UteZone's Dan Sorensen (who joined us not long ago on the U Fan Cast) is a big fan of Pututau's.
Fua Pututau to Utah is a big signing day win. Kid is a flat out baller.

Keeping in-state talent home has been a big priority for Utah, and Pututau was certainly a priority. Here is a link to his Hudl film. Pututau is constantly in the opposing team's backfield making plays. He is a terror off the edge. He is a little undersized to be a defensive end (6-3, 235), but he has a great frame to put on weight. He is the first of several prospects Utah hopes to land today.
Pututau says he made final decision late last night, 3 finalists were utah, byu and Colorado
