Utah Baseball to take on Ole Miss in Oxford Super Regional

The Utah baseball team now knows their destiny in the NCAA Super Regionals, as they will take on the Ole Miss Rebels in the Oxford regional. The Utes drew a 4-seed against the 1-seed Rebels. The teams in the pod with both Utah and Ole Miss are Boston College and Tulane. It's a double elimination style pod, so the Utes should get a good chance to make some noise.

Other Pac-12 teams joining Utah are: Washington, Arizona and Arizona State. The Utes are joined by fellow in-state school Utah Valley, since they won the WAC championship. Since Utah was a sub .500 team on the season, the winning the Pac-12 auto bid cost another team a bid, and it could have possibly been Oregon State that was on the wrong end of the bubble when Utah won the league.
