The Utah football program has seen a flurry of commitments in the past two days, adding 2017 twin brothers Tristin and Zyon McCollum (both cornerbacks) on Thursday, 2016 JUCO running back Armand Shyne on Friday, and possibly the biggest commitment both literally and figuratively on Friday, 2018 Highland High School (Salt Lake City, Utah) defensive tackle Hunter Lotulelei.
Have confirmed that 2018 DL @Hlotulelei53 has committed to the Utes tonight.

Hunter Lotulelei is first cousins of former Utah All American and current Carolina Panther Star Lotulelei and current Ute Lowell Lotulelei. While Utah and Colorado are his only offers currently, the soon-to-be high school junior will likely rake in the offers in the next two years. Lotulelei will also likely grow in that time; he is currently 6'3", 280 lbs (both of his cousins tipped the scales at over 300 pounds while at Utah and Hunter has the frame to likely get there as well).
looks like the Lotulelei name will live on at Utah thru the little bro @Hlotulelei53. I see you big dog! #UBOYZ

Lotulelei participated in the All-Poly Camp and looked impressive especially given that he just finished his sophomore year in high school. Deseret New's Brandon Gurney reported Lotulelei was one of the top 10 best performing defensive linemen at the All-Poly Camp.
Some notable #AllPolyCamp award winners: Hunter Lotulelei, Lorenzo Fauatea, Tayler Katoa, and Chaz Ah You
