USC Trojans at Utah Utes Open Thread

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

It's a rainy day up at Rice-Eccles Stadium at the No. 23/24 ranked Utes take on the USC Trojans to open up Pac-12 play. The Utes are coming into the game 3-0, with wins over a bunch of non-P5 opponents, but seemingly are improving each week. Troy Williams is looking good, overall, but needs to clean up some bad decisions, particularly in the red zone. The return of Cory Butler-Byrd is no doubt going to be a big benefit to the Utes, as we saw in the SJSU game.

On defense, the Utes are looking as good as ever, and may be welcoming back Domo Hatfield to the lineup tonight, after he's missed the first three games due to injury. This Utah defense is going to have to slow down a bunch of talent on offense by USC, and will have to rattle the first time starting QB for the Trojans.

Hey, it's the beginning of big boy football, and we've got Pac-12 games from here on out, and if you can't join us at Rice-Eccles, then join us here on the open thread!
