The No. 19 Washington State Cougars (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) are coming to Rice-Eccles Stadium to face the Utah Utes (5-4, 2-4 Pac-12). With the Washington Huskies falling last night, the Cougars are sitting atop the Pac-12 North and will win the North for the first time if they can win out. The Utes on the other hand are looking for win number six to make a bowl game for the fourth-straight year. These two teams have not met since WSU scored a big comeback, upset win over Utah in 2014.
The Utah secondary is going to face an offense that throws the ball all around the field. They will have be without safeties Marquise Blair, who is out for the season, and Chase Hansen, who is out with an unspecified injury.
While the Utah secondary will be depleted, this game will not be a cake walk for WSU. The Cougars have only won once on the road this season (a 33-10 win at the Oregon Ducks). This will be one of the tougher road tests that the Cougars have faced this season.
If you cannot make it up to the stadium, join us here to discuss the game as it unfolds between the Utes and Cougars.
