As we approach kick off, things aren’t looking good for the Utes on the health front. Per Bill Riley’s Twitter, Chase Hansen, Sunia Tauteoli, Kylie Fitts and Casey Hughes will not play. Sounds like Zack Moss and Darren Carrington may be questionable too, as Riley said he hasn’t seen Carrington on the sideline (as of this writing at least), and Boobie Hobbs is warming up with the receivers. Similar story with Javelin Guidry working with the running backs. If there’s no Moss, the running game could be interesting to watch.
Let’s just say it’s not an ideal scenario for the Utes as they head into the game against Washington. The Utes are one win away from being bowl eligible, and it will be an uphill battle without all the guys that are injured. Here’s hoping they can get more healthy for a season ending showdown for Colorado.
