NCAA Football: Utah at Washington Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the weekly “will he or won’t he play” update! The Utes are taking on the Buffs for the right to go to a bowl game. The Utes will be shorthanded, as usual, with the likes of Kylie Fitts, Jaylon Johnson, Casey Hughes, and Siaosi Wilson not playing (per Bill Riley). The game time decisions are Tyler Huntley, Darren Carrington, and Chase Hansen. Huntley got dinged up against Washington and has been battling to get on the field this week.

Both CU and Utah are sitting at 5 wins, looking for those elusive 6th. While the Utes got beat up against Washington, Colorado was on BYE, which while that’s a brutal run of games for the Buffs, that makes this game a tougher draw for Utah. For the Utes, they need to limit Phillip Lindsay the best they can. He’s the engine that makes CU go on offense. He’s a stud. On offense, if it’s Huntley, keep doing what you’re doing, if it’s Williams, go out with a bang. Utah needs to feed Moss, and attack all game long. It’s do or die time, no reason to hold anything back.

Go Utes!
