It is official Utah Utes fans, the first recruit to sign in the 2018 recruiting class is four-star San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills quarterback Jack Tuttle. Tuttle committed to Utah over a year ago and never wavered. Despite drawing interest from the Alabama Crimson Tide and USC Trojans after an excellent performance at the Elite 11, Tuttle always stayed firmly committed to Utah.

Landing one of the best players at the most important position on the field is great for Utah. Tuttle is the type of player that the coaches can build around. He is a smart player who works hard to always improve and showed as a senior in high school that he is the best player in the Greater San Diego area. He finished his senior year with 3,171 passing yards and 41 touchdowns, earning the Silver Pigskin and first-team all-CIF.
Welcome to Utah Jack Tuttle, can’t wait to see you on the field!
