How to watch/listen to/stream Utah at Oregon State

NCAA Basketball: Utah at UNLV Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

The Utes finish off their trip to the state of Oregon today with a trip to Corvallis to take on Oregon State. The Beavers are 9-4 on the season with losses to Wyoming, St Johns, Long Beach State, and Kent State. They’re also coming off of a conference opening win against Colorado, where they beat down the Buffs by 19 points. Tres Tinkle leads a quartet of players averaging double figures on the season, with an 18.2 points per game average. Stephen Thompson, Jr., follows with 16.2 points per game. Tinkle also leads the team with 7.2 rebounds per game and 18 steals. Thompson Jr. has tallied a team-high 42 assists, while Drew Eubanks leads the Beavers with 19 blocked shots on the season. Utah is just 2-11 all-time when facing the Beavers at Gill Coliseum, with its last win coming back on Feb. 19, 2015. The Utes have lost some real head scratchers in Corvallis, with the most painful being when Brandon Taylor fouled an OSU player shooting a half court prayer at the buzzer at the end of the game, giving up 3 free throws to lose the game.

The Utes have some momentum themselves, coming off of a nice win over Oregon in Eugene on Friday night. The Utes are still a bit shorthanded, without Chris Seeley and Donnie Tillman, but it was the most disciplined effort of the season wit only 3 turnovers, and a very powerful second half. If Utah can get similar efforts from Collette, Bibbins, Rawson and Barefield, they’ll be in a nice position to win this game. Getting a split on this trip is already a win, so getting a sweep would be just gravy.
