Utah football signed Kapa’a (Hawaii) Kapa’a three-star offensive lineman Mo Unutoa. Unutoa committed to Utah on National Signing Day. Utah landed him over offers from BYU, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Washington State among others. He is one of three players that Utah got on National Signing Day from the state of Hawaii.
I am a big fan of Utah recruiting Hawaii because many great Utah football players have come from the Aloha State. Unutoa is 6’ 5”, 285 pounds. He has the kind of length necessary to play offensive tackle in the Pac-12. He is a road grader as a blocker. He is also very athletic, especially for his size. He can pull and get down field to block. He can absolutely pancake defenders because of his strength and hand technique. I think this is a very good pickup for Utah on an underrated player. He played in the Polynesian Bowl in January.
