Utah Utes at Cal Golden Bears Open Thread

Back to the road for the Utes, as they are in the Bay Area to take on Cal and Stanford. First up, tonight the Utes are in Berkeley to take on the Bears and Ivan Rabb. The Utes have struggled in Cal the last couple of trips, and Cal is always one of the more talented teams in the league. They are also one of the better defensive teams in the league, so I wouldn't expect it to be a high scoring game.

The Bears and the Utes sit at 6-3 in league play, and the two will likely be battling for seeding in the Pac-12 tournament all year. The Utes aren't favored in this game, about a 3 point underdog, and a win would help the Utes out, because their non conference, as has been reported over and over, was so poor. This isn't a must win for the Utes, but about as close at it gets when it comes to NCAA Tournament hopes.

Enjoy the game and Go Utes!
