Utah to Play Wyoming in Football in 2020 and 2025

A rivalry dating back to 1904 will be rekindled when Utah takes on Wyoming in football in 2020 and 2025. The 2020 game will be played on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 in War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyo. The game in Rice-Eccles Stadium will occur on Sept. 6, 2025. The teams have played 83 times (Utah leads 51-31-1) as members five different conferences: Rocky Mountain, Big Seven, Skyline, Western Athletic, and Mountain West. Utah and Wyoming have not played each other since Utah left the Mountain West to join the Pac-12 in 2011. They last played each other in 2010 when Utah won 30-6 in Laramie.

SALT LAKE CITY—Utah and Wyoming have signed an agreement to play each other in a home and home football series in 2020 and 2025, renewing a rivalry that dates back to 1904.

The teams will first play in Laramie on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 in War Memorial Stadium. Utah will host the 2025 game on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Until the Utes departed for the Pac-12 Conference in 2011, Utah and Wyoming were members five conferences together: Rocky Mountain, Big Seven, Skyline, Western Athletic and Mountain West. The two teams have faced off 83 times with Utah holding a 51-31-1 series advantage.
