The Utah Utes (2-0, 0-0 Pac-12) will take on the San Jose State Spartans (1-2, 0-0 Mountain West) on Saturday Sept. 16 at 8:00 p.m. MT for their annual Ute Proud game, honoring the Ute Tribe. For the game, Utah will be wearing special uniforms, using a new white helmet, black jersey, and white pants.

I really like the new helmet, and I like that Utah designed a special helmet for the Ute Proud game. Utah has previously worn white-black-white at home against UCLA in 2015, and while I liked the look then, I think it looks much better with this helmet and the new uniforms. It is also cool for us here at Block U to see a block U logo on the helmet.

This is one of two special uniforms Utah has donned for the Ute Proud game. The first Ute Proud game was against Arizona in 2014, and the Utes just added the Ute Tribe seal to their red helmet on one side replacing the drum and feather. In 2015, Utah wore a cool variation of the satin red helmet. In 2016, Utah just added the Ute Tribe seal decal to the back of their black helmet.
Here was the 2015 Ute Proud uniform.

It is hard for me to pick which one I like better. Which Ute Proud uniform do you prefer?
