Utah was sitting just outside the AP top 25 for several weeks and finally moved into the top 25 after six ranked teams fell yesterday. Their 54-16 win over San Jose State may not have been a marquee win, but it was a nice statement prior to starting conference play. Utah is one of five ranked Pac-12 teams, led by USC at No. 5, followed by Washington at No. 7, Washington State at No. 18, Utah at No. 23, and Oregon at No. 24. Stanford and UCLA both fell out of the rankings following losses at Group of Five opponents.
