The Utah Utes (1-0, 0-0 Pac-12) will travel to take on the rival BYU Cougars (1-1) in at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah for the first time since 2013. Utah is seeking their seventh win in a row against BYU. The last time BYU beat Utah was in overtime in 2009 at LaVell Edwards Stadium. The game is a late kickoff at 8:15 p.m. MT on ESPN2.
These games are traditionally quite close. Dating back to BYU’s last win in 2009, only one game was decided by more than one score (Utah’s 54-10 win in 2011). BYU has not beaten Utah since the Utes made the move to the Pac-12 in 2011. The game will again be a color versus color as it has been for every meeting since Utah joined the Pac-12.
If you are not making the trip down south to Provo, here is how you can watch, stream, or listen to the game.
