The Utah Utes football team secured two commitments from twin brothers Blake and Brant Kuithe of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. The brothers were formerly committed to the Rice Owls back in June before decommitting at the end of November. Both brothers held offers the Colorado Buffaloes and the Iowa State Cyclones in the Power Five, and Blake also had an offer from the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Blake is a 6’ 2” 230 strong-side defensive end, while Brant is a 6’ 3”, 212 pound. Blake shows some good block shedding ability in his film, including fight through a double-team to make a stop on a ball carrier. It will be interesting to see how Utah uses Brant. In his film, he shows big play ability as a ball carrier. He can also play H-back and flex out wide to wide receiver. I wonder if he will focus on one position at Utah or if he will be moved around to utilize his versatility.
