Utah is now up to three commits today for their 2018 recruiting class with Blinn College three-star cornerback Vonte Davis committing to Utah along with brothers Blake and Brant Kuithe, who committed a little earlier today. All three commits are currently on their official visits to the Utah Utes. Utah appears to be the only Power Five offer for the Blinn standout. He is a top 10 JUCO cornerback. Blinn is one of the top junior colleges in the country, and Utah has two former Buccaneers on the roster with defensive backs Corrion Ballard and Josh Nurse. Blinn has produced many talented football players, including Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton.

Davis is a fumble forcing machine. He has a knack for punching the ball out from ball carriers. He also plays the ball well in coverage and intercepts passes. He always seems to be around the ball and just makes plays. He has good height for a defensive back at 6’ 1”, 180 pounds.
Vonte Davis Hudl Highlights:
Per Alex Markham or UteNation, Davis has four years to play three and will participate in spring football. Given this information, I expect Davis will definitely play a role for Utah this fall.
BIG day for the Utes. @V9_Davis is an immediate enrollee. He’ll participate in spring ball and has 4 years to play 3. #UteNation https://t.co/gZafm5EGEQ— Alex Markham (@AMarkhamRivals) January 14, 2018
