There are only three other Pac-12 games after the Utah Utes (4-2, 2-2 Pac-12) demolished the Arizona Wildcats (3-4, 2-2 Pac-12) last night 42-10. One game is the UCLA Bruins at the California Golden Bears, which is not exactly compelling, as UCLA is still winless and Cal lost to Arizona last week. There are two Pac-12 games though that Utah fans should tune into, and it will be easy as they are at different times, and Utah is already done for the week with their big win.
#7 Washington Huskies at #17 Oregon Ducks - 1:30 p.m. MT - ABC or ESPN2
The only meeting between ranked Pac-12 teams this week will happen n Eugene, Ore. This is a heated rivalry, and both teams have something to prove. This game will be a big factor in the Pac-12 North standings, especially with the Stanford Cardinal getting beaten handily last week by Utah. I think Huskies defense will be too much for the Ducks, but this is a chance for Justin Herbert to solidify his NFL Draft stock. I think a Huskies win would be better for Utah, but that is mostly because a highly ranked UW is better for the Pac-12.
#19 Colorado Buffaloes at USC Trojans - 8:30 p.m. MT - FS1
The biggest Pac-12 South game of the year so far this season. Colorado is undefeated, but they have yet to beat a team with a winning record. USC has been up and down, which was to be expected with a true freshman quarterback in J.T. Daniels. I do not believe Colorado is for real, and I think USC has too much talent at home for the Buffs to handle. I have talked to many people and I think people are torn on who they want to win. I can see the argument for a USC win (would mean Utah controls their own destiny), but I think a Colorado win would actually be better because it would give USC two losses. Colorado has a much tougher remaining schedule than USC with a road trip to Washington looming next week and a home date with the Washington State Cougars as well. Both still have to play Utah as well.
