Dominating the USC Trojans has many perks, leading the Pac-12 South being one, and now a ranking in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, where the Utah Utes find themselves at No. 24. The Utes (5-2, 3-2 Pac-12) sit atop the Pac-12 South after a 41-28 win over USC that was not as close as the final score indicates. The Utes are ranked for the first time this year after three-straight 40+ point games. Utah is one of five ranked Pac-12 teams, along with the Washington Huskies (13), Washington State Cougars (15), Oregon Ducks (21), and Stanford Cardinal (23). It is nice to see Utah ranked, but it does not make sense to see them ranked behind Stanford, who they dominated 40-21 to start their three-game winning streak.
