Every. Game. Counts. That’s the case for Utah and everyone else in the Pac-12. The Utes have announced themselves as legit contenders for not just the Pac-12 South, but the Pac-12 Championship. After three straight great performances, the Utes have shot up our rankings, and are up to No. 3 right now. We all agree on Washington State being No. 1, which is our 4th team being No. 1 this season, with Washington, Oregon and Stanford. The bottom of the league has settled in pretty well, although UCLA has shown some signs of life, albeit against the other bottom dwellers. Cal is a bit of an enigma, they look good one week, and then just fall all over themselves the next.
The question right now is can Washington State and Utah keep it up to setup an unconventional Pac-12 Championship game matchup? Washington, Oregon, Stanford and Colorado may all have says in that. I think ASU sitting at 8 is also a sleeper, and a team that always scares me...
Here are our rankings for this week.
