Utes in the NFL Week 5

NFL: Denver Broncos at New York Jets Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta Falcons Defensive end Derrick Shelby:

Derrick Shelby has missed his last three games due to a groin injury. As of this article he is listed as ‘questionable’ for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Baltimore Ravens Free Safety Eric Weddle:

Eric Weddle had 1 sack, 7 solo tackles, 1 assist tackle and 1 quarterback hit in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. The sack from Weddleto Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield came on a third down to force a punt. This was Weddle’s first sack of the season.

Buffalo Bills Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei:

If you look at the stats, the board says Star Lotulelei had one tackle in the win over the Tennessee Titans, but if you ask his teammates, they will tell you that Lotulelei is doing a lot more than the numbers show. In an article posted on, defensive end Jerry Hughes said Lotulelei was “incredible” and that he can “command double teams.” When the opponents run up the middle or off a guard, they are only averaging 3.1 yards per carry.

Carolina Panthers Linebacker Jared Norris:

Jared Norris sat out in the last game due to a toe injury. He is listed as ‘questionable’ for Sunday’s matchup against the Redskins.

Chicago Bears Linebacker Kylie Fitts:

Kylie Fitts didn’t play this week.

Devontae Booker and Tim Patrick (Denver Broncos):

Devontae Booker caught the ball 5 times for 59 yards and averaged 11.8 yards per catch. Tim Patrick had 1 catch for 6 yards. The Broncos lost to the New York Jets.

New England Patriots Defensive Back Eric Rowe:

Eric Rowe has missed the last three games due to a groin injury. He is listed as ‘questionable’ in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Washington Redskins Quarterback Alex Smith:

Alexx Smith attempted 39 passes. He completed 23 and threw for 275 yards. Smith rushed for 2 imes for 7 yards and had 1 interception in the loss to the New Orleans Saints. Smith’s performance was pretty poor. There was a fourth-down interception that ended Washington’s hopes of a comeback during the second half. Smith fumbled another fourth-down attempt on the next drive. Let’s end on a good note…Smith had a 4 yard touchdown run and a 77 yard throw.
