After clinching the Pac-12 South Championship yesterday after beating Colorado in Boulder, and ASU losing to Oregon in Eugene, the Utes were bumped up a couple of spots in the most recent polls by the AP and the Coaches. The Utes are now up to No. 18 in the AP Poll, and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll. The Utes are currently ranked No. 19 in the CFP, which will be updated on Tuesday.
The Pac-12 is getting a little love in these polls, with Wazzu and Washington holding it down ahead of the Utes, with the Cougars being in the top 10. The Utes will have a rematch against one of those two teams in just over a week and half in Santa Clara.
