Block U Pac-12 Power Poll Week 10

NCAA Football: Utah at UCLA Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Crunch time, that’s what November is, and the Utes and Cougars are on a collision course to the Pac-12 Championship Game. Both teams need to take care of business and the rematch will happen. Both of those teams are 1-2 in our rankings this week, and they are playing the best football in the league by a comfortable margin. I’m a bit higher on Washington than the others, but I get why they’re getting dinged a bit by the others... they just don’t look good right now.

We’ve also started to see pulse out of a couple of the bottom dwellers in the conference, with Arizona and Oregon State both picking up big wins this past weekend. Colorado has hit a skid after starting 5-0, and are being bit by the injury bug. USC is in the same boat, injuries, and some unsettled coaching has that team sinking fast.

Last week was a crazy one, because all of the underdogs won, except for the favored Utes. So even Vegas isn’t sure what to think of the Pac-12 right now, which is what we’ve come to expect out of this league, expect the unexpected. For the Utes, this week, the hope is that the Vegas odds will hold up.
