Block U Pac-12 Power Poll: Week 13

NCAA Football: Utah at Colorado Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

We’re at the end of the regular season, and there are teams I would have never dreamt them being in this week’s power poll. The top three teams were consensus, so that was pretty easy. The next four teams all settled in well, with Cal making a leap in the power rankings this week. Then the last 13 of the league is something else. UCLA and Arizona have dug out of the bottom of the basement with some nice wins late in the season, and Arizona is one win away from a bowl. UCLA improved quite a bit over the last three weeks of the season, including getting the win over USC last week.

Speaking of USC, I don’t think I could have ever imagined I would have them at No. 10 in a ranking in this conference. They have had a terrible run this year. And Colorado finds themselves tied with Oregon State at the very bottom. I gave the Beavs the leg up because of the head to head not that long ago, and CU has lost 6 straight since opening the season 5-0. This conference, man, you just never know.

Here’s the full rankings for this week.
