The No. 15 Utah Utes (6-2, 4-2 Pac-12) head on the road today to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils (4-4, 2-3 Pac-12). The game kicks off at 2:00 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.
A win almost completely locks up the South for the Utes (they would just need to win against the Oregon Ducks or the Colorado Buffaloes to clinch the South with a win today). Utah went 4-0 in October, averaging 41 points per game on offense with the usual stifling defense that Utah is known for under head coach Kyle Whitingham. Tyler Huntley, Zack Moss, and Britain Covey all made huge plays on offense for Utah to fuel their stretch of scoring 40+ points in four-straight games for the first time since 2004.
Arizona State got their first road win under head coach Herm Edwards when they defeated the USC Trojans 38-35 last Saturday. The Sun Devils have a potent trio on offense with Manny Wilkins, Eno Benjamin, and N’Keal Harry that Utah will need to try to slow down if they want to win. Utah won 49-26 at ASU in 2016 but lost 30-10 at home last year. Utah is looking for their first ever back-to-back wins against ASU in Tempe, Ariz.
