The Utes are back home after a big loss to Kentucky just two days ago at Rupp Arena. It’s been an uphill battle for the below .500 Utes, as they are trying to find themselves, and trying to find a way not to turn over the ball 18 times per game. After a big game by Both Gach on Saturday, it will be interesting to see how he responds going into a game like the one tonight. Gach had some comparisons to Delon Wright before the season, and he showed that potential against Kentucky. I’m hoping a game like that will help build his confidence moving into the season, and maybe give the Utes the leader they need.
I also want to see more from Donnie Tillman and Timmy Allen tonight. They’re going to be two of the most talented guys on the floor, they need to show it. It’s going to be hard to gauge progress in a game like this, but I just want to see the Utes play clean and fast. That means taking care of the ball, less than 10 turnovers in the game, and a high field goal percentage.
Here’s how to check out the game if you can’t make it up to the Huntsman Center.
