The Utah Utes have a pipeline to ProKick Australia’s excellent punters. First it was Tom Hackett, who won back-to-back Ray Guy Awards in 2014 and 2015. Then, Mitch Wishnowsky took over for him, winning the Ray Guy Award in 2016, making Utah the first school to win the award three years in a row. Wishnowsky was also a finalist for the award in 2017 and 2018. The next Australian punter for Utah just signed: Ben Lennon.

Lennon looks to continue the strong legacy of Australian punters at Utah. The “rugby style” punts that these punters learn in Australia has taken American football by storm. Five of the last six Ray Guy Award winners originally hail from Australia, include the three awards for Utah’s Aussie punters. Welcome to Utah Ben Lennon!
