Vegas has started releasing win totals for some programs around the country, including some in the Pac-12, but I’m yet to really see one for Utah, at least from the Bovada. So, I’m going to try and get ahead of Vegas on this one and predict what they’re going to put down for the Utes.
Weber State: W
NIU: W
Washington: L (Their win total is set at 10.5)
Washington State: W (Their win total is set at 6.5)
Stanford: L (Win total set at 8)
Arizona: W
USC: L (Win total set at 8.5)
UCLA: W (Win total set at 5)
ASU: W
Oregon: L (Win total set at 8.5)
Colorado: W
BYU: W
I have them puting Utah at 8 with straight up W/Ls, these aren’t my predicitions, but this is kind of how I see Vegas seeing things for the Utes. I actually think 7.5 is going to be the number, with a game like CU being a toss up. I think they’ll probably have Utah second in the Pac-12 South in win total, probably close with Arizona, because everyone is goo goo over Tate. Them having USC at 8.5 I think is a bit too high, with a new QB and other playmakers being replaced. I’d peg them maybe at 8, but I guess USC gets the benefit of the doubt. It seems they’re being conservative on Chip Kelly’s first season at UCLA, I thought they’d be closer to 6. It’s going to be an interesting couple of months to see where people peg these teams, but I think Utah has all the tools to be a favorite in this league.
Where do you think Vegas will have the win totals?
