Utah unveils week one uni combo

The Utes have unveiled their uni combo for Thursday’s opened against Weber State, and it’s a fairly traditional look.

It’s all red, with the satin red helmet, with the small chrome filled drum and feather, and the chrome Utah stripe down the center. This is a hot combo, no doubt, and I love this helmet. The silver in the drum and feather really makes it pop, and the Utah stripe really tops it off nicely. This is the second season with the striped shoulder pads, after the mountain look of a couple of seasons. I’m interested to see if we see anything new this season, but they’re off to a great start with this selection for game day.

One new addition this season is the patch on the left shoulder that commemorates the 125th season of Utah football, which is a really nice addition to the uniform.
